We have taken Isabella out in public a couple of times since we arrived home three weeks ago. She has done fine each time, snuggled in close to me in the wrap, but is obviously happiest when we are home. Here at home, Isabella is relaxed and secure -- a very happy baby. She cries when she is hungry or tired, and the rest of the time smiles, plays, and loves on us (she gives slobbery kisses now!). Laughing or crying, she is a joy.
I am constantly in awe that Isabella was created for our family. The heartache and pain that brought her to us reflects an imperfect world, yet was part of God's perfect plan. Our family is full of love, joy, happiness, peace, and contentment in this day that the Lord has made, and we rejoice and are glad in it.
