Did You Ever Have One Of Those Weeks?

From a 24-hour stomach bug and fever to the death of our oh-so-wonderful Breadman Ultimate to finding out that my persistantly bad eye pain is a treatable symptom of an untreatable condition that could end badly at any time, it's been one of those weeks.  So... if my house is a bit (okay, a lot!) messier than usual, my thank you and birthday cards exceptionally late, and my appearance frighteningly rumpled and askew, please understand: it HAS been one of THOSE weeks.  Our kids are still thriving, resilient children that they are.  Our animals are still alive, and incapable of reporting us to the local humane society.  We are still laughing, in my case through the eye-medicine-induced-fake-tears, but laughing just the same!

I will spare you, my dear reader, photos of all of the above.  I wish the ophthamologist had done the same for me:  the image of my eye did nothing to enlighten me and everything to remind me why I do not eat jello. 

Instead, here are some old and new photos of Isabella, the princess that is the real subject of this blog.  She captured our hearts before we saw the first photo, we were convinced that she was The Cutest Baby In The World, Ever as soon as we laid eyes on her, and we have loved her unconditionally every since.  She is a bundle of joy that escaped from the angels, wrapped up in some serious cuteness!
