Unoffially... but firmly... #3!
Officially we're still #6, but... we know that two families ahead of us received infant girl referrals *this week,* and one family ahead of us is open to a toddler, not an infant, so... *drum roll please* ... we are #3 in line for an infant girl referral!
In staring at the referral chart below, I have found a pattern. It may be real, or it may be the result of too much ice cream and too little sleep, but either way, here it is: This year, infant girl referrals by our agency seem to consistently alternate months, with high numbers in odd months and low numbers in even months: February/2, March/4, April/2, May/5, June/1. If July follows this pattern, we may have a referral by the end of the month!
This makes me happy.
