Decree of Adoption

OF COURSE the morning of our readoption hearing WOULD be the only morning all season that the power is out.  No power, no water, because we are on a well.  So... no baths for the kids, and even worse, no washing/styling of the hair for me (scary!).  Laughing because I couldn't believe how bad our timing always seems to be, I smeared my makeup on in the dark by flashlight.  Ai yi yi!  Still, we had to have photos of the occasion.  Be glad they haven't figured out an app to add scent to post...
