ReplyDeletethanks for posting this! i've saved several but everyone always has that one thing or idea that others don't... saving yours too!!!
ReplyDeletePacking is so personal. I packed a flashlight because I hate stumbling around in the dark when the power goes off, as it often does in Addis. I'm not taking a calculator, although it is recommended, because I'm fine doing the math conversion for Birr to Dollars in my head. I am taking an ice cube tray because I must have ice in my water bottle, but I may be the only one in the world with this personal issue! Space is so tight, and every little thing adds up. On Trip 2, we will *have* to use some space in one of the checked tubs for Isabella's stuff... diapers, formula, bottles, toys, etc.
ReplyDeleteI never cease to be impressed by your skills, Angela!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAngela, thank you for the organized list. It really does help to look at a few different lists in hope of not forgetting anything! I love how you got so many donations! We are looking forward to quite a few bins as well, as our church continues to bring in supplies. Praying for your travels. Can't wait to hear more. Looks like we will just be missing eachother on this first trip. We leave on the 2nd.
ReplyDeleteIm not at all suprised that you would detail out a packing list and share with everyone. Your organizational skills are a gift to us all. Thank you for posting this. Enjoy your trip, Im so excited for you :)
